Which is more important? The Final Marksheet or Child’s Growth?

The best thing about childhood was being care-free. I remember those days when I used to jump off the school bus, throw my school bag and rush out to play with my friends. I took tuitions when I was in 12th. No more is the case. Kids, today, are busier than a CEO of a company. They are juggling between school, tuitions and extra-curricular activities. The competition is immense and pressure from parents and teachers is unbearable. Their creativity is brutally killed and they are forced to do what others want them to do. Most of us fail to realize how important creativity and imagination is important for a child’s growth and how constantly draining the child’s growth has a negative impact.

But not everything is dark and gloomy in this world. Mr. and Mrs. Dassani, parents of 8 years old Yashas Dassani, knew about Yashas’s power of imagination and his wish to travel abroad. When Lufthansa announced ‘Your Announcement Contest’, they encouraged Yashas to participate. He was not the only one who participated. Children from 9 different countries participated, and top 15 were selected for public voting. Yashas emerged as a winner. Lufthansa boosted his creativity when the Wolfgang Will, Director, South Asia, Lufthansa and the team visited Yashas at his school to give him the surprise of his lifetime. He was given a flight tickets for him and his parents and other prizes.

But the best part does not end here. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome the youngest Lufthansa crewmember who will make his welcome announcement on European bound flight this summer.

For now, watch Yashas’s super cute video that oozes of creativity and imagination, and will bring a smile on your face.
