Warm a cup of water and take 1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain) and 1/4 tsp salt. Swallow the mix and take small sips of water. You could also swallow carom seeds and salt, and gulp down lukewarm water to swallow seeds.

Take 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds (methi), 1/2 tsp black peppercorn (kali mirch) and 2 cups of water. Boil the ingredients together for 10 minutes. Let it cool and drain the mix. Have it twice a day.

Alternatively, take 1 tsp of lemon juice and 2 tsp of honey together to soothe yourself.

Heat 2-3 tsp of mustard oil. With the help of a dropper, add 1 drop in each nostril or take a cotton swab and dab the mustard oil in and around your nose. It’s going to feel a little itchy but don’t wipe your nose!

Take 2-3 slices of ginger and crush it. Heat the ginger carefully and soak it in 1/2-1 tbsp honey. The ginger and honey together will ensure you get a good night sleep.
