How many times have you opened the fridge door in vain after dinner because your sweet tooth refused to cave in and you found nothing? Well those times are long gone, because we bring to you 15 easy no bake dessert recipes to make at home so that those dinners at night end on a sweet note.
#1 Espresso and Chocolate Mug Cake
This isn’t exactly one of the no bake dessert recipes, but it will just take 10-15 minutes of your time.
Add about 3 tablespoon of maida, 2 tablespoon of cocoa powder and sugar, 1 teaspoon of coffee powder, 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder in a coffee mug. Then add one egg, 2 tbsp oil and milk to the dry ingredients and mix well. Flavour with vanilla extract and cook in a microwave oven for 90 seconds.
#2 Coconut Dates
Grab some dates (khajur) and knead them so they make a nice ball with dough like consistency. Add in a cereal of your choice and once again, knead well. Then divide them into two- bite sized portions and roll in shredded coconut and cool in a fridge.
#3 Yogurt-Mango Lollies
Add the Mangoes and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice into a food processor and process away! Add 1 cup of yogurt or dahi, and a tiny bit of sugar, this is more of a preference based thing, and process some more. Pour the mixture into kulfi moulds and freeze overnight.
#4 Caramel Bananas
Take two bananas (one per person) and cut them up into small discs. In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter and add 1/2 cup sugar on medium high flame. Wait patiently while the sugar melts, and keep an eye on the pan and stir occasionally. Add the bananas into the pan, caramelize and then transfer onto a plate. This recipe serves two people – to make more, add one banana per person and accordingly increase the butter and sugar.
#5 Fruit Granita
The fifth on the list of no bake dessert recipes is the fruit granita, which is a very easy delicious no bake dessert.
Take your 1/2 kgs of your favourite fruit and de-seed, peel and cut them. Add the fruit into a pan with 1 cup water and 3/4 cups sugar. Cook on medium heat till the fruit is mushy and the sugar is dissolved. Spread thinly in a shallow dish and place it in the freezer after it has cooled to room temperature. Every 30 minutes, take the dish out and rake the frozen granita with a fork to get a snow like texture. The more you rake it the finer the texture will be.
#6 White Chocolate Cheesecake
Grind one pack of biscuits first. Add half a cup of melted butter to it, so that they stick together. In a dish, spread a thin layer of this. Refrigerate for half an hour. Then in another bowl, mix cheese cream, plain cream, white chocolate and sugar. Whip it well. Then spread it over the biscuit layer. Refrigerate this for 1-2 hours. Garnish it with fruits of choice.
#7 No Bake Biscuit Pudding
In a bowl pour one cup of milk. Add one teaspoon of coffee. Dip the biscuits in the milk and place them in a dish. In another bowl, whip cream. Add two teaspoons of coffee and four tablespoons of sugar to it. Mix it well. Pour it over the biscuits. Refrigerate it for 2 hours.
#8 Candy truffle
Crush oreo biscuits and candies separately. Then mix them together until they blend in well. Then roll them into balls. Refrigerate these. While they are placed in the fridge. You can melt a chocolate (like cadbury silk or bournville). Let it cool. Take the balls out. Dip them in the chocolate. Then refrigerate them again for 10-15 minutes.

#9 Banana Biscuit Pudding
Cut some round-shaped slices of banana. Wipe heavy cream in a bowl, add vanilla flavour to it. Fix it again. Refrigerate it for a while. In a jar, first place a layer of biscuits;then place a layer of the sliced banana. Top it up with a layer of the cream. Repeat this till it covers the jar. Crush a little biscuit on the final layer of cream.
#10 Fruit cream pudding
First cut the fruits of your choices, like banana, mango, strawberries, apple, kiwi etc. Keep them in the refrigerator for an hour. In a bowl whip heavy cream. Add sugar to it according to your requirement. Bring out the fruits. Mix them with the cream. Serve in dessert bowls.
