#1 Honey Ginger Syrup

You need simple ingredients, honey, ginger, cinnamon, lemon juice and some water to make this syrup.Take a pan and pour half and cup water and put it to boil. Add all the dry ingredients and simmer it until the water reduces to half. Strain this water, let it cool and then add all the liquid ingredients. Mix properly and store in an airtight container. If you refrigerate it, it will be good for around two months. Consume this 3-4 times in a day to see speedy recovery.

#2 Honey and onions syrup

Yes this combination might sound weird but it works really well in fighting with the cough.

You need honey, onions and little bit of sugar(optional) to make this own.

High in antioxidants and great for the immune system, onion is nothing less than a super food for you if you are suffering from cough and honey provides relief to the dry and sour throat.

Take a bowl and put in one diced onion in it. Now pour some honey so that all these onion pieces are covered in it. Add a few granules of sugar if you want and voila! You are done. Cover this with a plate and leave it like this overnight. Consume this 2-3 times a day and see the results on your own.

#3 Olive oil, Honey and Lemon Syrup

You need 1/4th cup of olive oil, 3/4th cup fresh lemon juice and half a cup of honey.

Simply mix all ingredients all boil them on medium heat until it simmers. Keep stirring continuously. Cool this mixture, transfer it into an airtight container and store in the fridge. This will be good for at least a month.

Take this syrup by stirring and warming it a little as soon as you feel dryness or itchiness on your throat. This will help you get relieved with the cough and show quick improvement in your condition. This syrup can also be taken as prevention from allergies on a regular basis.

Olive oil and Lemon

#4 Honey and brandy syrup

You need some 1 cup honey, half a cup brandy and a little bit of water. Just mix these ingredients and dilute it to flowing consistency by adding very little water. We all know how good honey and brandy are individually and trust me their combination too would help you get rid of cough in no time. Consume a spoon or two before going to the bed and you would surely see the difference when you wake up.
