Cliched tourist photos:Taj Mahal

We sigh and LOL when we see people take the same old photographs in front of common landmarks around the world, but let’s be honest…we do the same damn thing. Don’t lie to yourself ;).

It’s only fair we did a round up! Presenting the 9 most cliched photos of all time.

9. Buckingham Palace, United Kingdom

Till date, no one’s been successful in making the royal guard move, let alone smile. Yet people take wacky photos before him in an effort to catch a glimpse of the guard. But nope! Even Mr. Bean had a hard time making the royal guard laugh.

8. Abbey Road, London, United Kingdom

“If the Beatles did it, so will I.”

7. Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy

Too many people have tried to push the poor leaning tower back to where it’s supposed to be, it has, so far, not budged. Maybe you’ll be lucky.

6. Statue of Liberty, USA

The things people do…are cute to say the least :)

5. Taj Mahal, India

No clue why, but people seem to love pinching the top of the Taj Mahal.

4. Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt

The Great Sphinx has the reputation of being the most kissed guy on the planet. The most common shot taken at Pyramids of Giza is either smooching the Sphinx or walking like a mummy.

3. Philadelphia Museum of Art, USA

I say Philadelphia Museum of Art and you say Rocky Balboa.

2. Christ the Redeemer, Brazil

Christ the Redeemer is used by Hollywood to denote that the current location in the movie is Brazil. But for tourists, it’s a mix of standing like Christ the Redeemer and dear old Shahrukh Khan.

1. Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt flatland, and is also a well known place for pink flamingos to breed. The most popular photo shot is the miniature shot. Minion meets Mr. Gulliver.

Have a funny snap to share with us? We would love to hear from you!
