9 Healthy Habits to Strengthen Nervous System and Avoid Nerve Weakness

We give attention to our body when feel weak but nervous system weakness is far more serious than body weakness. Troubled nervous system means that our body needs care to prevent serious health issues. Nerve weakness could be result of poor blood circulation, side effects of medicines or deficiency of Vitamin B complex. Some common symptoms of nerve weakness are poor memory, poor concentration, excessive sweating, numbness, sensitivity and mild or severe headache.

We could avoid nerve weakness if we take proper care of our body and eat diet rich in Magnesium and Vitamin B6.

#9 Vitamin D Intake

Vitamin D not only to strengthens muscles but also strengthens our nervous system. Either do sun salutation every morning or 15 minutes in sunlight.  If you can’t spend time under sun then consume a diet that includes Vitamin D. Salmon and Eggs are good source of Vitamin D but if you are a vegetarian then you can opt for cereals and milk.

#8 Magnesium-Rich Food

Your body not only needs Vitamin D but also magnesium. The best way to add magnesium to your diet is by consuming bananas, apricots, almonds, walnuts, spinach, lettuce and brown rice.

#7 Exercise

Do some physical activity to strengthen your body. You don’t need to do crunches or heavy body lifting. Walk, run or swim are simple to do exercise.

#6 Green or Chamomile Tea

A cup of green tea with raw honey may reduce your stress level and improves your mood. The amino acid in green tea is good for your health. To treat your anxiety problem, insomnia, to calm the nerves chamomile tea may help you.

#5 Yoga and Meditation

Yoga and meditation helps relive stress and strengthens nerves. If you can’t do yoga, then meditation is quite easy. Just give yourself 15 minutes break everyday and sit in a calm and peaceful spot. Make sure no one can disturb you.

#4 Breathing Exercise

Lie down or sit in a comfortable position. Then take a deep breath so you can fill your lungs with air as well as you expand your abdomen. Just for 5 seconds, you need to, hold your breath. Then you can breathe out slowly through the mouth and empty your lungs.  Then continue the process of inhaling and exhaling. Do this at least for 5 minutes. Deep breathing exercises will calm down your nerves system.

#3 Give Your Body Rest

The current lifestyle has made us busy. We are constantly on the go and worrying about pending chores. We hardly ever stop and give ourselves any rest. Give your body much needed detox calm your body and feel energized and refreshed.

#2 Stop Unhealthy Habits

Smoking and drinking are no longer the only unhealthy habits. Constant use of smartphone has made us a nomophobic. We wake up staring at our phone and in between our sleep if wake up, then our hand reaches out for smartphone.

#1 Keep Yourself Hydrated  

Avoid caffeine products such as coffee and soft drinks as well as sugar and aerated drinks. Drink water and keep yourself hydrated through out the day. If you don’t like the taste of regular water then add a lemon wedge or cucumber slices or basil.
