7 Quick Recipes with Maggi Masala

We all were scared when maggi was banned and couldn’t wait to get our hands on it when it returned. What makes maggi special is its masala. And no matter how hard you try to replicate; you won’t be. But did you know you can make some of your other favorite dishes special with maggi masala? We bring you 7 recipes that are easy to cook and get a complete taste makeover once you add maggi masala.

#7 Maggi Idly Fry

Ingredients

  • Leftover idlis chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon jeera seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 chopped chillies
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Maggi masala

Procedure

Add 2 tablespoon of oil, ¼ teaspoon of jeera seeds, ¼ teaspoon of mustard seeds, 2 chopped chillies, 1 small chopped onion, a pinch of turmeric powder, suitable amount of salt and fry it. After 2 minutes add the idlis and maggi masala. Mix it well. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.

#6 Maggi Egg Bhurji

Ingredients

  • Eggs
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Maggi masala

Procedure

Beat 2 eggs and pour it in the frying pan. Leave it for 30 seconds and then start stirring it, allowing it to cook. Then add salt, pepper and the maggi masala. Stir once more and garnish with coriander leaves.

#5 Maggi Dosa

Ingredients

  • Dosa batter
  • Ghee
  • Maggi Masala

Procedure

Heat a pan. Spread the dosa batter across the pan in a circular manner. Immediately sprinkle the maggie masala to let it blend with the taste of the batter. Add ghee across the dosa. Once it’s crispy, carefully remove it from the pan and serve with a side of any chutney.

#4 Maggi Bhel Puri

Ingredients

  • Chopped onions
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Grated Carrots
  • Puri or puffed rice
  • Green chutney or spicy chutney
  • Meetha chutney or sweet/tamarind chutney
  • Coriander leaves
  • Maggi Masala

Procedure

Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, carrots, coriander leaves, green chutney, meetha chutney and maggie masala to a big bowl. Mix it thoroughly. Add the puri or puffed rice and mix it again. Serve and enjoy!

#3  Maggi Soup

Ingredients

  • Finely chopped tomatoes
  • Finely chopped onion
  • Finely chopped carrot
  • Maggi Masala

Procedure

Add the onion, tomatoes and carrot to a pot of boiling water. Once it turns a little soft, place the bowl in a pressure cooker. Cook till you hear 2 whistles. Open the cooker and let it cool down. Then mash the vegetables and filter the liquid. Add the maggi masala, heat it once more and serve it hot.

#2 Cheese Maggi

Ingredients

  • Maggi noodles
  • Cheese
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Maggi masala

Procedure

Add maggi noodles to a bowl of boiling water and let it cook for 1 minute. Add the maggi masala and a generous amount of cheese. Stir them well and let it cook for another minute and a half. Add the chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot.

  • Potato fries
  • Maggi Masala

Procedure

Use pre-fried potato fries for this quick recipe. Add 2 packets of maggi masala and mix it thoroughly. Can be served with ketchup if required.
