Since the day ‘Thor’ has hit the silver screen, Tom Hiddleston who played the baddie in the movie Loki is taking the internet as well as women’s heart by storm. Thor might be the god of thunder, but Tom Hiddleston became the god of the tumbler. After playing the super villain he has impressed critics and viewers with his performances in several movies, TV series and theaters. Hiddleston charmed us in movies like ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ and ‘Crimson Peak’. But, his good looks and acting talents are not the only reasons he’s reigning king of the fangirls. Here are seven reasons why we adore him.

#1 He Made Us Fall In Love With One Of Marvel’s Greatest Villain

“Every villain is a hero in his own mind.” -Tom Hiddleston

Hiddleston claimed to fame playing Loki in Marvel’s superhero series ‘Thor’. Loki was supposed to be the envious, wicked brother of Thor, whom people should have hated. But,instead of loathing, audience sympathized with Loki. The fans even tagged him as a misunderstood deprived soul. No wonder, his impeccable charm worked here. Hiddleston himself declared, ” Every villain is a hero in his own mind.” Well we can’t but agree with him.

#2 Brainy Is The New Sexy!
What is more appealing than his oh-so-beautiful smile? His immense knowledge in multiple subjects. No, it’s not just a mere joke. This British actor can speak in French and Spanish, German, Italian, Korean and Arabic too. He can read Latin and ancient Greek. Well, that doesn’t end here. Hiddleston is one of those actors who possess the best vocabulary and effortlessly use them in his speech without making it look like a showoff.

#3 He Can Recite Shakespeare At The Drop Of A Hat
He can literally recite Shakespeare at the drop of a hat. He once said “Shakespeare is the reason. I became an actor.” He even claimed he got inspiration from the characters created by Shakespeare to play his characters in the movies. He described Loki as ambitious as Macbeth and manipulative as Iago, enough said.

#4 A Loud and Proud Feminist
He is a strong supporter of #HeforShe campaign. In an interview with Elle U.K. he said, “I believe in the strength and intelligence and sensitivity of women, my mother, my sisters are strong. My mum is a strong woman, and I love her for it.” He also said, his sisters made him know more about what women want, like giving a compliment to their new hairdo. We don’t need to explain why he gives every woman a perfect boyfriend goal.

#5 He Can Sing
If you have not seen him singing yet, you have to watch the trailer of “I Saw The Light”. He sang in this Hank Williams biopic and he did it really well.

#6 Your Handsome Private Tutor
Last but not the least, he taught the cookie monster and the world what is ‘delayed gratification’. Also, if a student with English major can literally take notes from his interviews! He is probably only celeb who would gladly explain what is pulp fiction on Twitter. Now, that’s what we Hiddelestoners say the height of ‘awww’liciousness.
