#1 Sula Vineyards
Sula vineyards is one of India’s most popular winery situated in Gangapur Dam area of Nashik. Tracing its origin back to its humble beginnings in 1999, it has today developed into a world class winery with a market capturing share of more than 70% in India. It also organizes Sulafest each year in early February, so don’t forget to miss this combination of wine and music. Sula vineyards also arranges for a one day wine appreciation course every Thursday. It offers wines like Sauvignon blanc, Rose, Reisling, Merlot, Shiraz, Chenin blanc etc.
#2 Grover Zampa Vineyard
Grover vineyards was founded by Kanwal Grover. One of the oldest surviving winery in India, it launched its wines in 1992. Later it merged with Ravi Jain’s Mumbai based Vallee De Vin Pvt Ltd (VDV) in 2013 and is now known as Grover Zampa Vineyards. After Sula Vineyards, Grover Zampa Vineyards is the second best winery in India. It has an ambient modern setting along with patios and sunny courtyards. It is located in Sanjegaon district. It offers wines like Cabernet sauvignon, Chenin blanc, Sparkling rose and brut etc.
#3 York Winery
Long stretches of emerald – green slopes which span over six to seven acres of picturesque vineyards make the York Winery one of the must visit and most charming wineries of Nashik. York winery was founded in 2006. It occupies close to seven acres of vineyards which overlook Gangapur Dam which is close to Sula vineyards. Being a friendly and young family owned winery, its main focus is on producing fruity and dry rather than sweet wines. It offers wines like Cabernet sauvignon, Rose, Shiraz etc.
#4 Vallonne Vineyards
Just like Grover Zampa vineyards, Vallonne vineyards is also situated in Sanjegaon district when you are on your way to Nashik from Mumbai. It is a premium boutique winery which is known for bringing the FRENCH CHATEAU experience to India along with unique use of French wine making process and equipment. It offers wines like Sauvignon blanc, Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot etc.
#5 Chateau D’ori
Chateau d’ori is one of the largest vineyard in the region after Sula vineyards. Known to be watered by three artificial lakes, it is located at the feet of Nhera-Ori hills in the Dindori district which is to the north of Nashik. It also arranges for wine tour, tasting and accommodation. It offers wines like Merlot, Rose, Sauvignon blanc etc.
