Every now and then a new internet challenge emerges that takes the whole world by wonder and soon enough everyone is joining the trend of doing these challenges. The challenges are mostly harmless and are about spreading awareness but since it is the internet that we are talking about, we can positively say that nothing ever stays pure here.

Internet challenges have been re-introduced and are going far too crazy to handle. Here are 5 Internet challenges that just went too far.

#5 The Cinnamon Challenge

This is a food challenge where a person takes a teaspoon full of ground cinnamon and tries to swallow it in one minute without drinking anything, record the whole thing and upload the video for entertainment purposes. Although this challenge seems like a normal one, but it has many health risks as cinnamon is a very dry substance that dries out the throat which causes many problems like coughing, choking, breathing problems, gagging and even collapsed lungs.
The craze of this challenge subsided when a 4-year-old boy died from Kentucky from trying to eat the cinnamon.

#4 Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge

The Kylie Jenner Challenge was a major hit and it came into trend after Kylie’s infamous lip surgery. The challenge is pretty simple, you take a shot glass and suck on it so that your lips stay inside and all the air is sucked out. This Internet Challenge was almost as famous as the ASL Ice Bucket challenge and almost everyone was doing it but did not realize the risk they put themselves too. This challenge was DIY version for getting Kylie Jenner’s plum lips but ended up bruising and swelling the lip of the person and in some cases even exploding. The suction causes the blood flow to stop and results in swelling but instead of it looking good it causes potential risks of scarring the face and even permanent deformity with repeated attempts.

#3 Warhead Challenge

The Warhead Challenge was not as popular as the other ones and one can only be glad because of that. Warhead is the name of a candy which was introduced in the United States in 1993. These candies are known for their extreme sourness and so the internet saw an opportunity for creating a challenge. The packet of the Warhead candy comes with a warning, “Eating multiple pieces within a short time period may cause a temporary irritation to sensitive tongues and mouths”. So, the challenge is to see how many candies you can eat which resulted in severe results like numb tongue, bleeding from the mouth, and intense pain.

#2 The Duct Tape Challenge

Another dangerous challenge surfaced through the internet called the duct tape challenge. This challenge was pretty high on the scale of danger. The Duct Challenge requires a person to be completely wrapped with duct tape and then seeing how fast they can escape the messy confinement. Duct tapes, as you know, are very hard and are very hard to remove and when pulled apart from the skin causes burns and rashes but not only that, the extreme cases of this challenge has even lead to near-death experiences. A 14-year-old boy slammed through a window frame trying to quickly unwrap himself and had a seizure and choked on his own blood. Luckily, his friends were there to help. He shattered his eye socket and his cheekbone plus had to get 48 stitches on his head.

#1 The Fire Challenge

Now, I don’t think this even need an explanation as to why it is not a good idea. So this challenge requires a person to apply flammable liquid on their bodies and then setting them in flames while recording the whole thing. The unbearable heat from it causes second to third degree burns and in most cases the person doing the challenge panics and forgets to douse themselves causing more severe problems. Other than the obvious dangers of this challenge, another immediate problem is the person inhaling the untamable heat causing lung damage. There is nothing to say other than how stupid and reckless this challenge is.

These were the 5 internet challenges that were just too much, and there are also a lot more of these because internet is a crazy place.

Would you ever try any of these dangerous internet challenges just for the sake of entertainment?
